I’ve been involved in charity for a long time. I’ve raised money for UNICEF and for children in war zones, such as Iraq. Now there is a charity that is very close to my heart. It’s the cancer charity, Macmillan. I lost my granddad, my uncle, and my aunt to cancer. And more recently in the last year I lost my cousin who is twenty years old and has been battling cancer since she was fifteen. Because this horrible disease touches so many of us, I decided to run in marathons all over the world and to do it to raise money for Macmillan.

Thanks to everyone who supported me during the gruelling Marathon des Sables, which took place in the Sahara desert.
